Main Consular Services

• Receipt and forwarding to the Italian Consulate in Manchester of the following documents:
  • Civil Acts received from local authorities, Italian citizens or captains of national or foreign ships or planes.
  • Statements concerning civil status issued by captains (ships or planes)
  • Wills written on board ships or planes.
• Issuing of certificates (except citizenship and foreign residency certificates), witness and legalisation.
• Renewal of passports (PDF document - opens in a new window) of Italian citizens resident in the area covered by the Honorary Consulate (after consultation with the Italian Consulate in Manchester).
• The effecting of all legally required operations with regards to the arrival and departure of national ships.
• The keeping of a register (PDF document - opens in a new window) of all Italian citizens in the area and of the signature of local authorities.
